CSE dept ന്റെ കീഴില്,IEDC ഉടെ സഹായത്തോടെ 3 വിദ്യാര്ഥികള് തുടങ്ങിയ ഈ സംരംഭമിന്നു അമല്ജ്യോതിയുടെ തന്നെ അഭിമാനമായി വളര്ന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞു. അജിത് മാത്യു ,അര്ജുന് ഗോപാല്, വിമല് ജോസ് എന്നീ അവസാന വര്ഷ വിദ്യാര്ഥികളും, പ്രൊ. മനോജ് ടി ജോയ് (HOD), പ്രൊ. ഷാന് ജിയോ(asst. prof) എന്നീ അധ്യാപകരും ആണ് ഈ ഉദ്യമത്തിന് പിന്നില്. ഇന്റര്നെറ്റ് പോലെ ഒരു മാധ്യമത്തില് ഇത് പോലെ ഒരു സംരംഭം എന്ത് കൊണ്ടും സ്വാഗതാര്ഹമാണ്. ഒരുമുഴുനീള (24×7) ഇന്റര്നെറ്റ് സ്ട്രീമിംഗ് റേഡിയോ എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യം അതിന്റെ പൂര്ണതയില് എത്തി നില്ക്കുന്നു എന്ന സൂചനയാണ് ഇത് വിലയിരുത്താനായി എത്തിയ മുതിര്ന്ന NSTDEB അംഗം ശ്രീ സുജിത് ബനെര്ജീ ഉടെ വാക്കുകളില് നിന്നും വ്യക്തമാകുന്നത്.

Yes, we ajceans have proved our multilevel talents once again. Amal Jyothi bagged the overall championship in the National Level Inter Collegiate IT fest, IGNITE 10-11 conducted by the MCA department of Marian college kuttikanam.We got 4 firsts and a second including the mega event of the program, “STAR OF IGNITE”.
Saran S Nair(S5 CSE),who is one of our chief blogger became this year’s “STAR OF IGNITE”. He got a LAPTOP as prize. It was a 3 day event which consisted of many rounds, which mainly measured the management and language skills of the contestants. Saran came first in all the rounds and did a stunning performance in the stress interview round through which he impressed the judges and audience .He also got second prize in C-Coding.
Ajith Mathew of S7 CSE ( earen fame),also did a wonderful performance there by wining first prize for both web designing and multimedia presentation. He went as a lone wolf and won 2 prizes in just 4 hours.(8K in 4 hrs….!!!).
Another achievement was in Quiz.Melvin joseph (S5 ECE) and Joffis John (S7 IT) came first in Quiz, with a great margin of about 50 points to the second best team.
Do you dream about getting placed in the prestigious IBM… Very few would say NO to that. Then its our time now. IBM has recruited two amalites from the 2010 batch of IT and CSE. Haritha balakrishnan of s3 cse, has secured herself a spot to perform in the famous music reality show, IDEA STAR SINGER, the greatest of its kind in south india.Haritha was amongst the news when she secured a prize in the MG University youth festival. She has already become the Nightingale of the college by appearing in many events organized in the college.

This gorgeous lady has been learning music for the past 9 years under efficient teachers. Her illustrious profile includes many prizes and awards. She was the semi finalist in Kairali TV GANDHARVA SANGEETHAM in the year 2007. She was honoured by the K.P UDAYABHANU FOUNDATION when they awarded her the UDAYATHARAM award. Her glorious exposure in this field has many other proves including the 2nd prize in light music at the Akashavani Prabhavalayam programme. Miss haritha was also the 2006-2007 Manorama- Vanitha super singer competition winner.
Well she is about to make a new turn in her life. lets hope that each and every student of amal jyothi will pray for her success in the competition and let us hope that kerala will get a new singer and the right successor for the likes of Sujatha and K S Chithra.
TEMPLE SECURITY SYSTEM UNLEASHED FOR THE COUNTRY
Amaljyothi college of engineering added yet another golden feather to its mighty crown. The students once again proved that technology can be used way beyond human imagination. This time we have come up with an efficient solution for the robbery in famous temples. “Now God can sleep in his temple without having the fear of being stolen by his children !!!!!”
Thieves have to get more worried. Because technology is coming for the rescue. If you think you can outperform the brains of young engineers like us, well then its time to rethink. The two students from the college have put forward the effective mechanism to keep the prestigious and valuable idols and money of the temples safe and secure. Its named as the TEMPLE SECURITY SYSTEM. The security system, made by Mr Libin Varghese (S7EEE) and Mr Adarsh (S7EEE) with the help of their former lecturer Mr Romison, has some default phone numbers of various temple administrators and police men in it. When an attempt is made to break into the temple, or to steal the properties, then a call is sent to these numbers automatically thus ensuring the security.
If the temple administrators have to collect these cash then they can disable the system with a password and take the money. The main hall where the diety stands has a mini night vision camera fixed in it. The system is available for a cost less than Rs 5000. The prestige of the college has once again risen up because of this great effort from the part of the students. For the first time, technology has come to protect the God from thieves, atleast in a temple.
