Revolution 2020

Chetan bhagat is back with another blast, his fifth book “Revolution 2020 love.corruption.ambition”. The book carries the same trend of writing and his own way of describing people and intimate situations and most importantly how he describes India and Indians. His characters represent the general people of the country. And once again he came up with a story starting from a cute student life and ending up in rather different manner. In fact this book doesn’t have a happy ending unlike his other books.
In the first quarter it will make you remember your first school girl and those moments you spend together. You will recall all of it. Then it came up with the Kota thing, where students visit to get pass their entrance as sadhus used to visit Kashi to meditate. Most my friends did go to that place to meditate. He described it very well. I loved this part.
He also showed how private colleges work in some part of the country. That was the corruption part.
One of the leading characters throws away his bright engineering future which he made from IT-BHU just to follow his ambition, ambition of spreading truth and making a corrupt free society.
It mentioned love, corruption and ambition in the title, but it did miss out the greatest part, “SACRIFICE”. A sacrifice which I would never do to bring a change, no matter how beneficial is that change to the society. And the sacrifice is the part which will touch your soul.
I know I have written this article all messed up, I can’t help it. I tried writing disclosing nothing. I don’t want to swipe away the your pleasure of reading it.
Read it, if possible. I won’t rate it , but a different touch. A real touch!!!!

Don’t even read the name of the book and simply writing or what ??
His ‘The 3 mistakes of my life’ was a good read.
